The Good Old Fashioned Cardi!

Gone are the days when cardigans were a little bit geeky or were safely kept in the wardrobes of the over 70's. Cardigans are big new again. Yay! With influences of the prim and proper Downton abbey and conservative 50's style dabbling of Desperate Housewives, we now are no longer embarrassed to get our cardies out.....

Get em out girls and wear them with pride. These are my top five cardigan crushes.....

Oasis Textured Cardi. €73
I love this little textured cardigan from Oasis. It serves a dual purpose, working as a "Chanel" style jacket too. Looks super cute with these shorts too.

Minkpink Cardigan €65
Minkpink have hit the new aztec trend on the head with this one. The colours are rich and graphic. I think this would look amazing put over a sleeveless black maxi dress and a wide leather belt cinching in the waist.

Reiss Tuxedo Cardigna €115

This is so beautiful. This is a piece you would have in your wardrobe forever. Its a classic. It has the look of a waterfall style jacket but you get the cosiness of knitwear. Plus the neutral colour means it will go over everything! What more could you want?

Marc by Mac Jacobs Cable Cardigan  €385

Wow! It was the colour that first caught my eye with this one but the cable design and chunky weight are fantastic. Of course it doesnt hurt that it's by Mar Jacobs either. A real splurge but worth it!

Vero Moda €46
Ok I couldn't resist a little bit of granny chic. But this one is cute with the waffle texture and this buttercup yellow would be a pretty addition to my Spring Wardrobe, especially with skinny jeans and a white tank top.

So how do you stand on cardigans? A little bit granny or a little bit now?
